Community Energy Plus is taking part in Scilly Living Well Day on Tuesday 16th September, 10am – 7pm.
The aim for the day is to provide high quality information on a holistic range of health and wellbeing services to the community of the Isles of Scilly. The programme has been devised to cover issues and challenges which face people of all ages, from children’s centre users to members of the Memory Cafe. Topics covered will include memory loss, financial and legal advice, fostering and adoption and fuel poverty.
The venue, the Wellbeing Centre, is adjacent to the school on St Mary’s and therefore easily accessible for parents and their children.
Various agencies will be represented covering all aspects of health and wellbeing. Scilly residents will have the opportunity to receive a range of one-on-one advice all under one roof, with confidential spaces available.
Community Energy Plus will be offering advice on energy efficiency, switching suppliers and understanding bills.
