After cutting Cornish energy bills by £230,000 since the start of the year, the Truro-based charity Community Energy Plus is inviting householders to take control of their energy costs by participating in their autumn collective energy switching initiative. To date Community Energy Switch has completed two collective energy switches which have helped 928 householders switch to cheaper electricity and gas tariffs.  This has reduced annual energy bills by an average of £247 which is equivalent to a 25% saving for …

Cornwall and Isles of Scilly successful in bid for £1.3 million to provide central heating in hundreds of homes
