Charity helps to cut 1,000 Cornish energy bills

Report ranks Cornish homes as worst insulated in England

Cornwall park home insulation scheme wins national award

An insulation scheme which has delivered important financial, health and wellbeing outcomes for park home residents in Cornwall has received a prestigious Community Action Award from the national fuel poverty charity National Energy Action (NEA) in partnership with the UK government and British Gas. Collective buying power cuts Cornish energy bills

After cutting Cornish energy bills by £230,000 since the start of the year, the Truro-based charity Community Energy Plus is inviting householders to take control of their energy costs by participating in their autumn collective energy switching initiative. Our response to consultation on changes Feed-in Tariff accreditation

In July 2015 the Department of Energy and Climate Change launched a four week DECC Feed-in Tariff accreditation consultation on removing the preliminary accreditation from the Feed-in Tariff. The government have released figures which show that the number of households in Cornwall who are struggling with the costs of heating their homes is rising.  In response Community Energy Plus is stressing the importance of bill payers taking control of their energy costs by switching tariffs.
