Free* or discounted offers on your home insulation

Why you should insulate your home

Around a third of all the heat that escapes from an un-insulated home is lost through the walls and a quarter is lost through the roof. Loft and cavity wall insulation makes your home warmer and helps to save money on your heating bills.

How Community Energy Plus can help you

Community Energy Plus's insulation schemes offers FREE* and DISCOUNTED offers for loft and cavity wall insulation to homeowners and private tenants in Cornwall.

To apply, call Freephone 0800 954 1956 (lines open 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday) or apply online.

How much will it cost?

If a member of your household is over 70, or in receipt of certain benefits, you will qualify for our free* loft and cavity wall insulation scheme. A heavily discounted price of just £99* for each measure of insulation installed is available to all other households in Cornwall.

So what’s the catch?

There isn’t one! This scheme is funded with financial support from Cornwall Council and a major utility company as part of their carbon reduction commitment but funds are strictly limited, and the scheme operates on a first come, first served basis.
